Dajabón, June 30, 2026
The main objectives of this meeting are to promote the exchange of experiences regarding the implementation of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA) measures in Cuba and Haiti, identifying lessons learned, challenges faced, and achievements reached.
Furthermore, it seeks to present the results of synergistic projects and other related initiatives, as well as to explore new potential for cooperation between both countries.
The Cuban delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA), the Environment Agency (AMA), the Guantánamo Environmental Studies Center (CESAT Guantánamo), and the Eastern Center for Ecosystems and Biodiversity (BIOECO).
Representing Haiti are specialists from the institutions Concert Action, FoProBiM, and the Haitian Ministry of Environment, who will share their experiences and progress in implementing adaptation and conservation actions in their territories.
