This webinar will present the fundamental concepts, principles and methodological approaches of Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) as a tool for organizing the uses of the ocean, reconciling sectoral interests and reducing conflicts. It will also address its contribution to biodiversity conservation, the sustainable use of ocean resources and the maintenance of ecosystem services that underpin economic activities, livelihoods and coastal resilience.
