🌊📋“CBC 30X30 PLUS MARINE ACTION PLAN: Driving Target 3 of the Global Biodiversity Framework in the Greater Antilles” 🪼🎯
In this session, we will present the recently approved 30×30 Plus Marine Action Plan for the Caribbean Biological Corridor (CBC). The countries that comprise the Initiative have agreed on the actions to be taken to meet the target of conserving 30 per cent of marine areas and their biodiversity. This plan aims to advance the achievement of Target 3 of the Global Biodiversity Framework in the Greater Antilles. We will discuss the importance of having such an instrument and how the plan was developed at sub-regional level. By the end of the webinar, you will be familiar with the main elements of the plan, as well as the challenges involved in its implementation.
